"Aruban Painters meeting the Classics" in Flora Market


Aruba, September 2010


Rosanna has presented a collection of 90 paintings of her students of her Atelier La Bonne Vie. The main theme of this exhibition was about 4 classics: Van Gogh, Mondriaan, Picasso and Monet. Also paintings of their own choice were exhibited. Mrs. Diana Peterson accomplished the aperture of the exhibition by painting the words "Bonbini", which means: Welcome.

The participants that have participated were the children Tamaë Bastin, Bonito Bonin, Iris Bijen, Christopher Carraha, Sed-Yee Chung, Naomi Croes, Jolina Dedier, Aydee and Zico Derix, Thimo Heykoop, Ian, Megan and Zinnia Jacobs, Samantha and Veronique van Eerden, Christian and Danny Jacobs, Jacob Koelewijn, Jeannick Pinard, Zabdi Plaza, Jamilène Ridderstaat, Chelsea Rodriquez, Kiana Statia, Claudia and Marco Sweerts, Shelsy and Shayna Toppenberg, Abigail and Emil de Veer.

And the adults that have participated were: Avi Becker, Carmen Faro, Gemma Figaroa, Aura Henriquez, Daphne Henriquez, Isa Henriquez, Dotty Jurriens, Eleanor Lee, Norma Leung, Beatriz Nedd, Karla Peterson, Diana Peterson, Filomena Semeleer, Rita Wong, Dalila Wong Fat, Marilou Vysma.

Exhibition during celebration of Queen's day in Aruba at Paseo Herencia

An exhibition, workshop and live painting together. The collection of paintings presented were of the students of Rosanna of her Atelier La Bonne Vie and her brothers and herself. A great group of children participated at the workshop. Some of the members of Atelier La bonne Vie were painting live again for the public.

An exhibition and workshop together. The collection of paintings presented were of the students of Rosanna of her Atelier La Bonne Vie and her brothers and herself. This presentation at Paseo Herencia was also a presentation of live painting by her students.

 

"Alegria cu arte den famia" - Sigui nos ta sigui bai!
(Happiness with art in the family - we will go on).


Aruba, November 2008


The Tromp family wanted to share their artwork again with others and presented in November 2008 their second exhibition in Cas di Cultura. This time also other family members participated. Cornelia Tromp-Semeleer, the mother and grandmother of the participants and Jacob Koelewijn and Willem ten Ham accomplished the aperture of the exhibition. The collection this time was besides paintings, also an exhibition of sculptures in labstone and ceramic artwork by Jossy Tromp, brother of Rosanna. He also participated with his oil-paintings.The husband of Rosanna, Jan-Dirk, exhibited a collection of his pictures of small animals of Aruba. Angelico presented his oil-paintings. Giovanny, Rosanna and Fleur Wing-Tromp their acrylic paintings. Fleur also had some drawings with pencil. Jacob had a collection of pastel paintings. On top of this Willem ten Ham, a nephew of Rosanna delighted the public with a piano recital.

"Art & Nature"

In September/October 2008, Rosanna presented a collection of 100 paintings of her students in Cas di Cultura. These artworks they created with acrylic, pastel, charcoal and aquarel. Julio Acosta and Samantha van Eerden accomplished the aperture of the exhibition. The main theme was the nature. The participants were the children Julio and Maria Acosta, Jose and Tamae Bastin, Oreana and Ricardo Carillo, Catherine Carraha, Naomi Croes, Xiqu Croes, Samantha and Veronique van Eerden, Melissa Hart, Jacob Koelewijn, Caleb Melendez, Jamilene Ridderstaat and Taliza Rock. And the adults that participated were Epi Koster, Latifa Mercera, Diana Peterson, Filomena Semeleer and Dalila Wong Fat.

"Art from the Heart" - A family's contribution to Aruba's heritage


Aruba, October/November 2006


This exhibition was held in Instituto di Cultura. This was the first family exhibition held in Aruba. His Excellence Minister of Cultural Affairs, mr. Ramon Lee, together with Jacob Koelewijn, Kristel and Hannah Lee accomplished the aperture of the exhibition. The main theme was the nature of Aruba. There were also some abstract and surrealistic paintings. The Participants were Rosanna Koelewijn-Tromp with her brothers Angelico and Giovanni Tromp. Her nieces Fleur Tromp, Jancis Tromp, Kristel Lee and Hannah Lee.And son Jacob. There was a collection of paintings in acrylic, oil, pastel, charcoal and aquarel.
